Theodoric is the courier of Charlamagne the Frank. He is to deliver something to the King when he arrives at Oublié Cathedral but is told by one of the monks that he is busy. After a quick chat, the monk tells him that another monk, Brother Nicholas, was murdered, but the bishop hasn't given them the order to perform funeral rites. While wandering around the cathedral, he finds a hidden passage behind a bookcase. Theodoric ventures down the ladder and is met by the horrific sight of three monsters killing a man. They move to attack him as the cathedral falls apart, but one manages to reach him which he is able to kick away. He stares in horror at his new hellish surroundings and frantically starts praying in Latin. Eventually, his surroundings revert back to its normal state, without the corpse and the monsters, leaving him to question if what he just saw was real. |

Theodoric, witnessing three monsters kill a man in Oublie Cathedral.
Theodoric is a player character in Shadow of the Eternals, the spiritual successor of Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. He is the character of the demo "Dream within a Dream."
