Template:Merge Spells are a necessity in combat and puzzle solving. Using this spell requires Magickal energy and if you don't have enough you can't cast the spell. There could be effects for the alignment you use the spells with, as using a spell with one alignment could affect its performance against a creature or spell of another. You need runes in order to construct spells. There are spell scrolls that tell you what runes you need in order to cast their spells.

Dispel Magick: Eliminates a "Damage Field" force field or "Shield," weather it's yours or the enemies'. Requires the Nethlek and Redgormor runes

Summon Trapper: Summons a trapper that you can control. When you do this, you can control the Trapper with the control stick, and press the A button to send someone or something to the trapper dimension. Requires the Tier and Aretak runes.

Shield: Creates a shield around you and while you get attacked, the shield will take damage instead of you. Requires the Bankorok and Santek runes

Summon Zombie: Summons a zombie that you can control. When you do this, you can control the Zombie with the control stick, and press the A button attack. Aim for the head, and you could munch on the enemy. Requires the Tier and Aretak runes, along with two Pargons.

Magickal Attack: Creates a deadly Magickal energy that lashes out and attacks enemies, even killing the weaker ones. Don't use this when innocent bystanders are around. You wouldn't want to kill them, now, would you? This is the only weapon that works against the Black Guardian. Requires the Antorbok and Redgormor runes.

Magick Pool: Creates a force of energy that automatically restores one of your meters depending on the chosen alignment, gradually over time. The Chattur'gha version restores health, the Xel'lotath version restores sanity, the Ulyoath version restores magick, and the Mantorok version restores all three. In some of the cutscenes, Pious Augustus uses this spell to communicate with the Ancient he's trying to summon. Requires the Tier and Redgormor runes

Summon Horror: Summons a horror that you can control. When you do this, you can control the Horror with the control stick, and press the A button to attack. Aim for the head, and you could zap the enemy. Requires the Tier and Aretak runes, along with four Pargons.

Bind: This generally traps a monster in a bind and it ends up fighting for you. Again with Mantorok's rune you will gain a benefit by adding a shield onto the bound creature. Requires the Bankorok and Aretak runes.
